Lawmakers need a reason to pass the 20 percent biodiesel mandate. Apparently being able to breathe isn't good enough, so we appealed to growers' emotional side to spur the lawmakers into action. We'll make their soybean's dreams a reality. Every soybean has aspirations for its afterlife. Some become cattle feed, some become human feed, but for many, there is no greater privilege than donating your body to become biodiesel.
A soybean dies and goes to biodiesel heaven. We drive traffic to our site to collect pledges for legislators. Win-win.
We spill millions of soybeans in front of the capitol building with picketing signs. Then, we invite local media outlets to cover it and create social content that we push out through the Minnesota Soybean platforms to attract attention and drive traffic to our pledge site. Then we sit back and watch legislators pull at their ties, gasping at the cleaner air they just voted for.
After driving people to the pledge page, we have them sign it to make bean dreams a reality.
